“We are no longer victims of this history.”

Meet the voices behind 100 Years Podcast: Michael Rhynes, Robert “Bam” Julien, Demetrius “Meat” Molina, and Efrain Diaz.

Together, they bring approximately one hundred years of lived experience in the New York prison system. In this trailer, they begin an honest conversation about what incarceration can leave behind: separation from family, constant watchfulness, trauma, survival, reentry, healing, and the work of building a different future.

This is a space for the hosts to tell their stories in their own voices—to reflect on the past, speak openly about the present, and explore what transformation can look like after incarceration.

Press play to hear the beginning of their conversation.
